The Reverend Colvin Ford
Fr Colvin first came to the Parish of Belmont on 5th February 2005. He has been Deaconed in 1971 and Priested in 1972.
Most of his ministry has
been in the Newcastle Diocese. The exception being for a time on exchange in
the Diocese of York.
He is married to Judith, and they have two adult children – Meredith and
Cameron. The ‘grandchildren’ are Tia who looks like a miniature German Shepherd
but is really a heinz variety, and Gina, a graceful black Great Dane.
The Reverend Pat Nelson
Pat is now retired in Belmont but has a most
incredible ministry [part-time] in the Parish.
Her work in the local Nursing Homes is very well received [three of them], and
her ministry with Home Communions is again wonderful.
She is also a wonderful support person to the Rector
